Our artisanal honey comes from hives that dot the landscape, here on the East Slopes of the Northern Rockies. We also source honey from a friend and master beekeeper, Warren Neyenhuis. Warren grew up in a local beekeeping family and his hives produce some of the best honey that I've ever tasted. We greatly appreciate his contribution. Honey from our region of Montana is very sweet and mild, clear and golden. Its unique flavor is derived from hay fields, meadows and riparian streambanks where indigenous plants and wildflowers flourish. Our bees gather nectar in a natural environment where they are not exposed to pesticides. The resulting honey is flavored by wild bergamot, wood's rose, sweet clover, red clover, hounds tongue, blazing star, diamond willow, chokecherry, serviceberry, sanfoin and alphalfa, to name a few.

Honey from this part of the world is considered to be some of the finest in the world and we are excited to share ours with you! *Note: Natural, raw honey crystallizes over time. To slow this process down, store your honey in a warm place. In winter we store ours on a shelf over our woodstove. To return crystallized honey to a clear state, simply heat jars on your stove in hot water (130 degrees is optimal) for several hours or until clear. It's not advised to use a microwave.
